The Ring of Eibon, forged with reddish stone
And set with a gemstone of purple hue,
Contained a demon of whom it was known,
Would reveal the answers long hid from view.
When desiring esoteric answer,
Over burning amber the ring was held,
Much less ghoulish than the necromancer,
With his rotting corpses and truth to meld.
The greatest sorcerer of any age,
Was Eibon, so the histories reveal,
Even demons were wary of this mage,
And the truth from him could not conceal.
Eibon's Ring compelled those summoned to speak,
Revealing all knowledge that he might seek.
