The Eldritch Dark a website dedicated to one of the greatest and least recognized literary talents of the 20th century -- Clark Ashton Smith. A labour of love that started in July 1997 and has been updated monthly ever since. This site has not been a solo effort, I owe an unmeasurable amount of gratitude to a large number of contributors.

Eldritch perhaps derives from a Middle English word meaning "fairyland," from Middle English elf, "elf" (from Old English aelf) + riche, "kingdom" (from Old English rice).
